You know they aren't interested in buying the house when....

We are currently renting a home that is on the market. I really do love this house, but it needs a lot of renovations. I know this because I watch TLC. And TLC has laughed at the orange floral drapes that are hanging behind me as I watch it!!

Anyways. I have come up with a few ways to tell if someone is NOT interested in buying the house you are living in....

1. You see them pull up, but they never get out of their car.
2. They enter the house at 5:21 and leave at 5:23.
3. They don't actually get past the entry way.
4. The realitor is the only one left in the house as their clients run back out to their car.
5. They won't look you in the eye when they ask you why you are moving.
6. When you ask them if they want to look at the backyard, they tell you they will get back to you about that.

I keep our lovely little house nice and tidy because I love it. And, in the beginning, we always left during the appointed appointment time. But, after 3 months of them showing up anywhere from 1 hour to 1 day after the appointment, we gave that up. Now, we just hang out in the "Sound of Music" room. That would be the room with the orange floral drapes I told you about. They are drapes, not curtains. If my dad doesn't use them for his production of Sound of Music, I will use them to make Ali's prom dress.

Like I said, we do love the house, but TLC says it will take $40-50,000 to renovate it. So, that means our landlord would need to give us a great deal!!!
